Ready to Get on the Bus?

A group of students waiting to board a blue school bus with a sign reading 'WELCOME, STUDENTS!' and a handicap accessible symbol, parked on a school campus.

Join the growing number of communities across Canada bringing the benefits of public transit to youth.

Launching a new initiative can be complex, but you don’t have to do it alone. Get on the Bus works alongside communities to co-design youth-focused transit programs that include free-for-youth passes, hands-on transit training, and meaningful engagement with young people.

What we offer
A man wearing glasses, a cap, and a T-shirt with a travel-themed design, stands next to a green and silver bus with a King County Metro logo.

Led by Kingston youth transit advocate Dan Hendry, our team supports school boards, municipalities, and community organizations in developing inclusive policies, building lasting partnerships, and aligning resources to create long-term, equitable change. Together, we empower youth with the skills, confidence, and access they need to get where they are going.
