Get on the Bus’s Sophia Young joined the panel “How Ordinary People Become Changemakers” at On Site Placement’s Changemakers End-of-Program Celebration.

Held at the Edmonton Convention Centre, the event brought together newcomer, refugee, and youth leaders from across Edmonton to celebrate their community impact. Sophia shared her experiences developing youth-led transit campaigns, building mentorship as part of Get on the Bus, and creating Next Stop: Change to equip young people with practical advocacy skills.
