About Lucy
Lucy is currently a first-year University of Victoria (UVic) student studying political science and environmental studies. With this degree, she hopes to pursue environmental activism, making change locally within communities. Lucy is studying at UVic because she is a recipient of the TD Scholarship For Community Leadership, which was given to her because of her involvement in cyclists' activism in her hometown, Saskatoon. She worked alongside local advocacy groups to promote bike safety and proper cycling infrastructure throughout the city through a bike rally, speaking at city council, and being on the board of active transportation for the city. When she is not busy with one of the many clubs she is involved with on campus, you can find her hiking, running, or biking through the beauty of God’s creation.
